Mono Test

The mononucleosis spot test looks for two antibodies in the blood that appear during or after an infection with the virus that causes mononucleosis or mono. A blood sample is obtained by a finger stick. When the needle is inserted to draw blood, some people feel moderate pain. Others feel only a prick or stinging. Afterward, there may be some throbbing or a slight bruise. This soon goes away. Once diagnosed appropriately a plan of care can be formed.

Urinalysis is a test that evaluates a sample of your urine. Urinalysis is used to detect and assess a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infection, kidney disease and diabetes. It can also detect dehydration, blood in the urine, elevated proteins all of which can lead to better diagnosis and treatment.
