Qualifications:

Physician Assistants must have Maryland licensure, and have a minimum of one year or more recent experience in Urgent Care, Emergency medicine and / or Family practice, or general medicine. Physicians should be board eligible or board certificate in the, afore mentioned specialties. They must be proficient in pediatric and adult medicine and be skilled in: minor trauma, suturing, sprain, fracture care, interpret EKG & X-RAYS. They must be able to treat abdominal pains, chest pains, respiratory, cardiac and ENT problems, as well as common ailments as hypertension, hyper cholesterol, arthritis, rashes, and other general medical ailments.

Type of Facility:

Walk-in urgent care

Equipment:

X-Rays, Labs. EKG, Monitors, IVs, etc.

Support Staff:

Medical Assistants, X-ray techs, Physician Assistants, receptionists.

Type of Patients:

General medical and pediatric cases: ie: pharyngitis, otitis media, sprains, minor lacerations, fractures, chest pains, abdominal pain, etc. No in-bound ambulance cases, no medical assistance, nor drug addicts or drunks.

Scheduling:

Summer, full-time, and year-round positions and opportunities are available. Flexible hours so you have time for yourself or with your family, too.

Malpractice:

Provided free.

Salary:

Based upon qualifications and experience.

Licensure Fees:

Partial reimbursement to non-MD (out of state) physicians.

Accomodations:

Luxurious bay side condominiums. All are large, one-bedroom condos with a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, full kitchen facilities (microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal), cable/color TV, washer/dryer, a queen sofa convertible in the living room, and outdoor pools. Some have tennis courts, too. The ocean's just across the street. These condominiums will be provided free. They would normally rent for $1000 per week.
